The Parable of the Vineyard Laborers

A parable is a codification or picture of the world and how it works at a given time. What does the ancient (and possibly unfamiliar) story of the Laborers in the Vineyard in Matthew (20.1-16) say about the world at the time? Service will be both in person and via Zoom.
