Copper Country Stories Celebrating Black History Month

Lynette Webber, Interpretive Ranger for the National Park Service in Calumet, has stitched together historical context and primary sources about African Americans in the Copper Country to create a “quilt” of people, places, and stories of resistance and strength on a borderland frontier.  Join us as we kick-off Black History month with stories shared by Ranger Weber.
