The Michigan Unitarian Universalist Social Justice Network (MUUSJN) asks for our help in protecting our democracy. Please see the actions below that you can do to help.

Put pressure on Michigan legislators: We need to turn up the heat on the GOP to demand they respect the will of the voters while lifting up our message about moving forward. (bit.ly/MItoolkit)

• Join phonebanks every day this week (sign up here) to encourage voters to call local elected officials and make sure they respect the outcome of the November 3rd election.
• Join text banks everyday this week (sign up here) to encourage voters to email their legislators to make sure they respect the will of the people.
• Flood legislative inboxes with emails demanding they respect the will of the people – fill out the form to identify your state senator and representative and email them directly.
• Promote the Elected Officials Pledge: Reach out to your elected officials and ask them to sign the pledge (ly/MIVotersDecided) to ensure the rules aren’t changed after the people have voted and decided. Reach out to them directly, especially elected officials that you have relationships with that you know will stand with us. We need their support to make sure they respect the will of the people.
