Over the last year, the Beyond Land Acknowledgement Committee has been leading a dynamic Indigenous Land Acknowledgement during Sunday service that incorporates an acknowledgement statement as well as a current event, information from an Indigenous group, or related learning in the spirit of going ‘beyond’ just a statement. The committee is meeting after the fellowship hour ends next Sunday, Feb 23, about 12:30PM in the community room. We are evaluating our current Sunday morning practice and are open to congregation input.
